Failte Farmhouse is located 8km from Cahirciveen town, on the Kerry Way Walking Route. We are scenically situated between the mountains and sea on a large farm comprising of mountain and bogland. Visitors are welcome to relax and explore the farm and admire the animals. We are happy to give time to our visitors to advise and guide them to local attractions so that they may have a memorable stay in the area. Failte Farmhouse is an ideal base for touring the Ring of Kerry, visiting the Skellig Rock and exploring the many local historical and archaeological sites. Visitors can relax in the comfortable sitting room with open turf fire, browse through the many books of local interest and view a very informative video of the local area. All bedrooms are en suite and visitors are assured a friendly welcome and plenty of home baking and cooking.
Location
The Iveragh Peninsula is the largest peninsula in Ireland and has the richest concentration of archaeological sites in Ireland, comprising of stone forts, ring forts, monastic settlements, ogham stones and scribed stones. The Iveragh Peninsula also has the most spectacular variety of scenery in the country, comprising of mountain. rivers, lakes and sea.

Failte Farmhouse is sign-posted 1km north of Cahirciveen town on the Ring of Kerry road (N70). Drive for 5.5km and we are again sign-posted off the main road for 1.5km
